Any permit issued hereunder may be revoked by the Police Chief if the registrant is convicted of a violation of this chapter, subject to any appeal of the conviction reversing any such conviction. Notice of revocation shall be immediately given to the registrant by personal service or by certified mail to the address listed on the registration. Immediately upon the giving of such notice, the permit shall become null and void and shall remain so unless the revocation is ordered rescinded.
