§ 31.38 ACTION MOTIONS.
   When a main motion has been made, certain other motions can be made to take action on the proposal, to change it or to set it aside, in the following order of priority:
   (A)   Motion to table the main motion (nondebatable; second required; majority vote);
   (B)   Motion for previous question that discussion stop and a vote be taken (second required; nondebatable; two-thirds vote required);
   (C)   Motion to limit discussion to certain amount of time (second required, nondebatable; two-thirds vote required);
   (D)   Motion to postpone action on the motion until some stated future time (second required; debatable; majority vote);
   (E)   Motion to refer proposal to a committee (second required; debatable; majority vote);
   (F)   Motion to amend main motion (second required; debatable; majority vote); and
   (G)   Motion to postpone to indefinite time any action on the proposal (second required; debatable; majority vote).
