§ 70.06 TEMPORARY REGULATIONS.
   When required for the convenience and safety of the public and to alleviate unusual traffic problems, the Chief of Police, after giving reasonable notice to the Mayor and City Administrative Officer, or other authorized city official, shall, at his or her discretion, have authority to impose such traffic regulations as he or she may deem necessary for temporary periods not to exceed 21 days. If these temporary regulations are necessary for a period longer than 21 days, written permission must be obtained from the Mayor or City Administrative Officer.
