§ 51.039 MEETINGS; OFFICERS.
   (A)   The Sewerage and Water Works Commission shall hold meetings at least once each month, at a time and place to be fixed in accordance with the law and with the Commission's bylaws, and as much more often as may be necessary for the proper conduct of the business and affairs of the sewerage and water works system.
   (B)   The Sewerage and Water Works Commission shall adopt bylaws to govern its management and may elect from its members an individual to act as Chairperson. The Manager of the Commission shall be its Treasurer, and the Commission may appoint a Secretary who need not be a member of the Commission. The Offices of Treasurer and Secretary may be combined and held by one person. The compensation of any person in the position of Secretary or Treasurer shall be as fixed by the Commission. The terms of office of officers shall be as set by the Commission.
