§ 51.037 BOND.
   Before assuming his or her duties as Commissioner, each appointee shall qualify by executing bond to the city, for the benefit of the holders of the bonds issued pursuant to the present bond ordinances, in the penal sum of $25,000 with corporate surety qualified to do business in the State of Kentucky, conditioned that he or she will faithfully perform his or her duties as Sewerage and Water Works Commissioner, account for all money and property which may be received by him or her in such capacity, and turn over such money and property and all records and accounts in his or her keeping to his or her successor. The premiums for the bond shall be paid out of the operation account of the Sewerage and Water Works Commission.
