§ 51.008 DESIGN AND INSTALLATION.
   (A)   All new connections to the municipal water system must be in accordance with the Standards Manual. Compliance with the Standards Manual does not relieve the owner of the responsibility of obtaining permits and approvals from any local, state or federal agency that may have jurisdiction. No deviation shall occur without the approval of the General Manager.
   (B)   Existing water service lines may be used in connection with new buildings only when they are found on examination and written certification by a licensed plumber to comply with the Standards Manual and the owner has obtained approval from any local, state or federal agency that may have jurisdiction. All applicable Commission fees for new buildings using existing water service lines from the main to the meter shall be the same as for new connections.
   (C)   Extension of customer service lines from the meter or from any point on the customer's side of the meter for delivery of water to any location other than that of the customer in whose name the meter is registered shall not be permitted.
