(A) The Mayor is authorized to appoint a Board of four members in accordance with the provisions of KRS 96.740, subject to the approval of the City Council, which shall be known as the Electric Plant Board.
(B) The Board shall have all the duties and powers and be subject to the restrictions as provided in KRS 96.550 through 96.900. The Mayor will designate, subject to the approval of the City Council, one member of the City Council as the fifth member of the Electric Plant Board according to the provisions of KRS 96.760.
(C) Each member of the Board shall execute bond in the sum of $1,000 for the faithful performance of his or her official duties and shall take the oath of office as required under § 228 of the Constitution.
(D) The Board shall meet at least once a month, and at such other time as it may deem necessary, and each member shall be compensated no more than allowed pursuant to KRS 96.750.
