§ 57.08 MAIN EXTENSIONS; GENERAL.
   (A)   Customers who sign up for a main extension must be prepared to receive flowing gas through their meters within 90 calendar days. If the customer does not meet this requirement due to environmental or geographic constraints, then they may request a 30-day extension from the Commission.
   (B)   The Commission reserves the right to determine the size of all gas main extensions.
   (C)   All gas main extensions, additions, or improvements shall become the property of the Commission, as they are installed, even though all or some part of the cost thereof is paid by parties other than the Commission.
   (D)   The Commission may install distribution mains within a new subdivision if an agreement between developer, home builder, and the gas division can be finalized, guaranteeing a sufficient number of housing units will be installed to meet the following requirements:
      (1)   Housing units will use a minimum amount of gas, agreeable to the Commission.
      (2)   Housing units will be constructed within piped areas designated for natural gas.
      (3)   A minimum of one housing unit will use natural gas for each 300 feet of main installed to serve the subdivision.
      (4)   Certain areas within the subdivision may be designated for natural gas use. The gas division manager and/or the General Manager of the Commission can approve exceptions or variances to these requirements.
   (E)   The Commission, at its discretion, may install segments of distribution piping that would be an asset for future development. The Commission reserves the right to refuse service to any customer under this policy who is remotely located from existing facilities that service would not be economically feasible.
