This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the “Maintenance Ordinance for Public Improvements of the City of Hopkinsville”.
(A) Purpose. The following regulations will set forth the specific responsibilities and procedures for the maintenance of facilities installed or incorporated in residential and commercial subdivisions.
(B) Provisions of chapter declared to be minimum requirements. In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this chapter shall be held to be minimum requirements, adopted for the promotion of the public health, safety and the general welfare. Wherever the requirements of this chapter are at variance or in any other way conflict with the requirements of any other lawfully adopted city, state and federal rules, regulations or ordinances, the most restrictive or that imposing the higher standards shall govern.
