The intent of this subchapter is to improve the appearance of properties, vehicular use areas (VUAs), and property abutting public right of ways; to provide standards for buffering between noncompatible land uses, and to protect, preserve and promote aesthetic appeal of properties, character and value of the surrounding neighborhoods; to promote public health and safety through the reduction of noise pollution and air pollution.
