§ 151.036 VILLAGE COUNCIL ACTION; RECORDING.
   (A)   Village Council action. Upon receiving the final recommendation of the Planning Commission, the Village Clerk shall place the preliminary plat upon the agenda of the next regularly scheduled Village Council meeting. At the meeting, or within 30 days after receiving the recommendation of the Planning Commission, the Village Council shall consider the recommendation of the Planning Commission for compliance with the tentatively approved preliminary plat standards and shall take action thereon.

   (B)   Granted by Village Council. If the preliminary plat conforms substantially to the plat approved tentatively by the Village Council and has met all conditions specified for tentative approval, the Village Council shall give final approval to the preliminary plat.

   (C)   Village Clerk to note Council's action. The Village Clerk shall record on the copy of the preliminary plat to be returned to the proprietor the approval or attach the rejection with reasons for the rejection.
