§ 131.01 DEFINITIONS.
   Except as otherwise excepted by law, all personal property that is the proceeds of a crime, the substituted proceeds of a crime, or an instrumentality of a crime is subject to seizure by and forfeiture to the village. Instrumentality of a crime means any property, other than real property, which contributes directly and materially to the commission of a crime.
