The President shall receive the sum of $100 per month, but the full amount to be paid to the President shall not exceed the amount of $1,200 for any one year of service as the member. Each Trustee shall receive the sum of $50 per month, but the full amount to be paid to each Trustee shall not exceed the sum of $600 for any one year of service as the member. No member of the Village Council or the Council President shall receive (unless authorized by a majority vote of the members thereof) any part of the pay or compensation for any month in which he or she does not attend the regular meeting(s) or during any part of the year or term during which he or she may hold the Office of President or Trustee unless excused by a majority vote of the Village Council.
