The sanitary landfill facilities operated by Cherokee County Solid Waste are hereby designated as the official “Public Sanitary Disposal Project” for the disposal of solid waste produced within the corporate limits of the City. A “Public Sanitary Disposal Project” for the disposal of recycled materials shall be set by resolution of the Council. No person may establish and operate a private sanitary disposal project within the City.
