When signs authorized by the Director of the Office of Parking & Intergovernmental Affairs and the City Engineer are erected giving notice of diagonal and parallel parking areas it shall be a violation for any person to stop, stand, or park a vehicle in that area in the manner prohibited by said sign or pavement marking.
