(A) Every offense which is defined by the Florida Statutes as a crime thereunder and is punishable as a misdemeanor, be and the same are hereby adopted as penal ordinances by the city.
(B) The city hereby authorizes the appropriate courts in Broward County to provide for the assessment of an additional $2 in court costs for those offenses prescribed by F.S. § 943.25, such additional costs to be used by the city for criminal justice education and training expenditures.
