All existing pay telephones shall comply with the requirements of this chapter within 60 days of its effective date; however, those pay telephones installed pursuant to an existing agreement with the city need not comply with the provisions of this chapter until the expiration date of said agreement. Any pay telephone(s) not in compliance by the date prescribed hereinabove shall be removed in accordance with the procedure outlined hereunder.
