(A) Upon approval by the Director of Financial Services or his/her designee of the application for a local business tax receipt under this chapter, which approval, if given, shall be endorsed on the application on or before ten days after filing the same, the local business tax receipt shall be issued on payment of the local business tax.
(B) If the application is denied by the Director of Financial Services or his/her designee, the reason for denial shall be endorsed on the application.
