(A) Rates for ambulance service within the city and for ambulance service originating within the city shall be as follows:
(1) For emergency ambulance calls by private ambulance companies: Rates in accordance with the rate structure authorized by and on file with the Broward County Commission.
(2) Emergency ambulance transportation by the City Fire Department, as set by resolution of the City Commission.
(3) For routine ambulance calls (other than emergency calls) by private ambulance companies: Rates in accordance with the rate structure authorized by and on file with the Broward County Commission.
(B) No person, firm, association or corporation shall charge rates for ambulance service in or originating within the city except as set forth herein.
