(A) Prior to the issuance of any license provided for herein, the City Clerk shall ascertain from the Police Department and the City Manager that the provisions of this subchapter have been met.

(B) No license shall be issued to any person or corporation in which any officer, director, stockholder or operator shall have been guilty of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude.
