For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BOATS or VESSELS USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES. All boats or vessels operated from any city-owned property for charter, sight-seeing or water taxi service purposes, or any other purpose for which a charge is made either by the trip or by the day where the operator of such boat or vessel sells tickets or collects fees in any manner from any one or more individuals for the use of such boat or vessel for any period of time or for the privilege of being a passenger upon said boat or vessel.
