It shall be unlawful for any owner or operator of any vessel which is required to be registered pursuant to Florida law to operate the vessel within the city limits without having registered by federal documentation or without displaying registration numbers on each side of the bow according to the Florida Boat Registration and Safety Law. The identifying numbers are set forth in the certificate of registration issued by the State of Florida. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vessel without a valid certificate of registration on board that vessel.
