§ 75.03 LICENSE PLATES.
   (A)   Upon filing of the application, the Police Department shall assign to such bicycle a distinctive number, and shall issue and deliver to the owner of such bicycle a certificate of registration, and one number plate for each bicycle as registered.
   (B)   The form and size of the number plate shall be determined by the Chief of Police, but shall be of uniform size and form each year.
   (C)   In the event of loss, mutilation or destruction of the certificate of registration, or number plate, the owner of a registered bicycle may obtain from the Police Department a duplicate thereof upon signing an affidavit showing the fact, and exhibiting the bicycle to the Police Department for personal inspection, and the payment of a fee of $.25.
