(A) Official to make searches; certificates. Upon request the Director of the Department of Financial Services or designee shall make an examination of its records as to unpaid municipal liens and municipal charges, and to certify the result thereof. The official so designated shall thereafter be vested with the power to make official certificates of searches for said municipal liens and charges.
(B) Certificate as to municipal liens and charges. Upon receipt of the fee hereinafter provided and a written application from any person containing a legal description of property to be searched and the name of the owner of the property, an examination of the records of the municipality shall be made within 15 days after receipt of application. A certificate of the liens and municipal charges levied or assessed against the property described in the application, which are liens thereon at the date of certificate, shall be issued. Said official shall include therein all unpaid installments of assessments heretofore levied and in force, whether due or not.
(C) Schedule of fees for searches. The fee for said services shall be established by resolution of the City Commission.
