The provisions of this subchapter shall be known as the "Procurement Code" or the "Procurement Ordinance" of the City of Hollywood.
The City, in all solicitations or advertisements for purchasing of goods, supplies, materials, equipment and services, will receive consideration from qualified businesses without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Additionally, procurement documents issued by the City will include a statement in the Terms and Conditions providing that the City adheres to all federal and state equal opportunity requirements.
