§ 36.02 JURISDICTION.
   (A)   The Hollywood Code Enforcement Special Magistrate appointed by the City Commission shall have jurisdiction to hear and decide cases in which violations are alleged of any provisions of technical codes enacted by the city, including but not limited to, property standards, local business tax receipts, fire, building, zoning and sign code, as well as the Florida Building Code in effect in Broward County, Florida, as revised from time to time.
   (B)   Where there is more than one Special Magistrate, cases shall be assigned by lot.
   (C)   Any alleged violation of the aforesaid codes and ordinances may also be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.
