§ 36.01 PURPOSE.

It is the intent of this chapter to promote, protect and improve the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the city, by providing an equitable, expeditious, effective and inexpensive method of enforcing the various technical laws and codes in force in the city. This chapter has been enacted pursuant to the authority of F.S. Chapter 162.
