§ 7.6 INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM.
   (A)   Unless otherwise prohibited by law, an ordinance may be initiated by petition as hereinafter provided.
   (B)   Unless otherwise prohibited by law, an ordinance enacted by the Council may be subject to a referendum by petition as hereinafter provided.
