The Board of Health, through its health officer, shall examine all nuisances, source of filth, and causes of sickness that may, in its opinion, be injurious to the health of the inhabitants within the corporate limits of the village, and after declaring the same to be a nuisance, shall destroy, remove, or prevent, as the case may require.
