A property owner may request an exception from an order by the village to construct or repair a sidewalk from the Village Council. In granting the exception, the Village Council may attach any conditions it deems to be reasonable in the furtherance of the purpose of requiring the construction or repair of sidewalks. In granting or denying the exception, the Village Council will state its reasons for the record.
