§ 53.11 PLUMBING AND SERVICE LINE LEAKS.
   (A)   No allowance shall be made by the village for water used, lost, stolen, or wasted through leaks, carelessness, neglect, or any other similar conditions once the water passes through the meter.
   (B)   (1)   Once a property owner has been advised that a leak exists in a service line, the line shall be repaired within seven days of the receipt of the notice to repair.
      (2)   The consumer is responsible for all water used, but unmetered after the curb stop.
      (3)   The village shall estimate the quantity of water used from the time of discovery to repair. The consumer of the water supply service shall be billed accordingly.
