It shall be a misdemeanor for any person to violate any provision of this chapter. Every person convicted of a misdemeanor for violating any provision of this chapter (or of the Local Government Code or the Transportation Code) for which another penalty is not provided or cannot be imposed under the Local Government Code or the Transportation Code or any other law of the State of Texas shall be punished by a fine of not less than one dollar nor more than $200; and each day such violation continues or occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
