(A) All new construction and any major maintenance repair at any connection which provides water for human consumption shall require a permit from the town at a cost of $100.
(B) This permit shall require the applicant to contract with a licensed plumber who will meet or exceed the requirements as set out in the 1997 edition of the International Plumbing Code.
(C) Further, it will be the responsibility of the applicant to retain the services of a licensed plumbing inspector who will be required to file a form of completion and compliance with the town.
