Therefore, pursuant to the provisions of Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat., Art. 971, the Town Council does hereby ordain that such survey shall be and the same is hereby adopted as the official survey of the original boundaries of said town, and does hereby direct that such field notes be recorded by the Secretary of the town in the Minute Book thereof.

The Town Council finds as a matter of fact that the original boundaries of said town as described in the survey adopted by division (B) above are correctly shown on the map or plat styled “Map of Boundaries of the Town of Holiday Lakes, Texas”, prepared by Freddy A. Gormly, of Alvin, Texas, a copy of which is duly recorded in Volume 1605, page 131 of the Deed Records of the county. The Town Council further finds as a matter of fact that the boundaries shown on such map or plat are the boundaries of said town as they exist at the time of the reading, passage and approval of this section. Therefore, pursuant to the provisions of Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat., Art. 971a, the Town Council of said town does hereby ordain that such map or plat be and the same is hereby adopted as the official map showing the original boundaries of the town, and does hereby direct that the Secretary of said town endorse thereon the words “Official Map of the Original Boundaries of the Town of Holiday Lakes, Texas, adopted by Ordinance No. 82-5 on the 27 day of January, A.D., 1982” inserting the number given to this section when the same is filed by said Secretary in the ordinance book of said town and the date this section is read, passed and approved by the Town Council as set forth below.
