(A) A permit must be obtained from the Town Secretary for construction of a private sewage facility. At time of application the person applying for permit will pay a permit fee. The fee will be set by the Town Council.
(B) Absorption field shall be constructed in compliance with specifications of the State Department of Public Health.
(C) The system must be inspected by the Building Inspector before covering.
(D) Minimum lot size requirement is 100 feet by 100 feet, or multiple lots having more than 10,000 square feet per occupied, structure.
(E) Absorption fields will be a minimum of 150 feet in sandy soil and 250 feet in other soil types. Tank minimum shall be 750 gallons per occupied structure.
