(A) Any violation or failure to comply with any provision of this chapter is a misdemeanor and is punishable by a fine not to exceed $500. Any day any violation or failure to comply with this chapter continues or occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
(B) In addition to filing a complaint against any person for a violation of this chapter in the Municipal Court of the town, the municipality hereby expressly reserves the right and shall have the right to file a civil action in any court of competent jurisdiction under the laws of this state seeking to have any act or omission of any person which are contrary to the provisions of this chapter prohibited or corrected by writ of injunction, or seeking to recover damages therefor or both.
