§ 5-1001  TRAFFIC-CONTROL MAP.
   (A)   The location, placement, hours and designated description of speed limits, signals, stop sign, parking zones and parking restrictions are hereby established as shown on the map entitled “Holdrege Traffic-Control Map of the City of Holdrege, Nebraska” dated 7-3-1990 and as amended and signed by the Mayor and City Clerk and hereafter referred to as the “Traffic-Control Map”.
   (B)   (1)   The Traffic-Control Map and all notations thereon including the amendment to establish a 20 mph school speed zone (when light is flashing) on 14th Avenue from 125 feet west of the west curb line on West Avenue to 150 feet east of the east curb line of Tilden Street. Such zone shall be marked with the appropriate flashing light and sign at the beginning and end of the zone. All other amendments to no parking zones, signs, signals and other parking restrictions as noted thereon are incorporated in this article by this references as though fully set out here.
      (2)   The Traffic-Control Map and all notations thereon including the amendment to establish crosswalk traffic-control signals on 14th Avenue from 444 feet west of the west curb line of West Avenue and 543 feet east of the east curb line of Tilden Street.
   (C)   The signed copy of the Traffic-Control Map shall be maintained in the office of the City Clerk. All dates and ordinance numbers of any amendments to the Traffic-Control Map shall be promptly entered onto this official Traffic-Control Map. This map shall be the final authority as to the current status of traffic regulations for all city streets and state highways within the corporate limits of the city.
   (D)   This article and Traffic-Control Map are adopted in accordance with state law and based upon the traffic study as prepared by Taranto, Stanton and Tagge (Engineers) and adopted by the City Council on 7-21-1981 by a motion and, upon an engineering and traffic investigation, in compliance with federal standards and state statues, conducted by the state’s Department of Roads in 1988 as shown by a certified copy of authorization for speed limits from the state’s Department of Roads. Both the traffic study and the Engineering and Traffic Investigation are incorporated in this article by this reference as though fully set herein.
