It hereby is declared to be the purpose of the revenues provided by the five percent (5%) Hotel/Motel Tax levied by this chapter to provide revenues for economic development, chamber-tourism, park-lake development, City employee raises, and City streets, in equal shares, within the City of Holdenville, Oklahoma. All taxes collected pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be deposited into the City of Holdenville's General Fund. The City Council shall annually appropriate said funds to support the said governmental purposes. (Ord. 860, 9-12-2018)
