§ 36.05 CITY OFFICIALS RESTRICTED; CONFLICT OF INTEREST.
   (A)   No member of the City Council may sell, or furnish for a consideration, any materials or supplies for use by the city; and any member of the Council voting for, or consenting to, or being a party to, such contract or purchase is personally liable as provided by law.
   (B)   The City Council shall not make any contract with any of its members, or in which any of its members shall be directly or indirectly interested, such contracts being prohibited by law.
   (C)   No officer of the city may become directly or indirectly interested individually in any sale, lease, or contract which he or she is authorized to make, such being prohibited by law.
