(A) Adoption. The 2018 International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) developed by ICC is hereby adopted as the code of the city for regulating and governing fuel gas systems and gas fired appliances as herein provided. Each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the IFGC are hereby referred to, adopted, incorporated and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this code with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in this subchapter.
(B) Effective date. The IFGC shall become effective in the city on February 1, 2022.
(C) Copy on file. One copy of the IFGC shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk for public use, inspection and examination.
