§ 32.025 CREATION AND AUTHORITY.
   There is hereby created a Zoning Board of Adjustment consisting of five members, citizens of the city, each to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council for a term of three years. Vacancies shall be filled by the appointing authority for the unexpired term of any member whose term becomes vacant. For the first appointment under the provisions of this section, however, one member shall be appointed for a term of one year; two members shall be appointed for a term of two years; and two members shall be appointed for a term of three years. All appointments thereafter shall be for a term of three years. Not less than two members shall be appointed from the membership of the City Council. The Board shall elect a Chairperson from its membership to serve for a term of one year.
