A. Appointment: The mayor, with consent of the city council, shall appoint the city inspector. The city inspector may also hold other positions in the city government.
B. Powers And Duties: The city inspector shall have the powers and duties prescribed for the city inspector by this code and the building code. His powers and duties may be exercised by his authorized representatives under his supervision and control. (1985 Code § 5-104; amd. 2004 Code)
