A. Interference Prohibited: It is unlawful for any person, except a person duly authorized by city personnel, to open, turn on or off, interfere with, attach any pipe or hose to, or connect anything with, any fire hydrant belonging to the city.
B. Obstructing Hydrants: It is unlawful for any person to obstruct access to any fire hydrant by placing around or thereon brick, lumber, dirt, or other thing, or in any other manner.
C. Damaging System: It is unlawful for any person to damage, destroy, or tamper with any pipes, meters, or other equipment or property which is a part of the city water system. (1985 Code § 17-215)
