(A) Required; fee. Before any person engaging in the billposting or distributing business in the city shall be permitted to conduct such business in the city, he or she shall obtain from the City Clerk a license therefor, for which he or she shall pay to the City Clerk the sum of $0.01 per square foot of area, outside dimensions.
(B) Term of license. Any license so issued shall be for one year or the year or part thereof expiring on June 30 next following the date of issue.
