(A) For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE. Beverages controlled by the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement (ABLE) Commission.
PACKAGE STORE. Any sole proprietor or partnership that qualifies to sell wine, beer and/or spirits for off-premises consumption and that is not a grocery store, convenience store or drug store, or other retail outlet that is not permitted to sell wine or beer for off-premises consumption.
RETAILER. A package store, grocery store, convenience store or drug store licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption pursuant to a retail spirits license, retail wine license or retail beer license.
STATE LICENSEE. Any person, partnership, firm, corporation or association who holds a license issued by the authority of the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Control Act, being 37A O.S. §§ 1-101 et seq.
WHOLESALE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE STORE. A store operated under the authority of a state wholesaler’s license.
WINERY. A manufacturing establishment operated under the authority of a state winemaker’s license.
(B) The following specific terms are given the meanings defined for them in 37A O.S. § 1-103:
(1) ABLE Commission;
(2) Alcohol;
(3) Beer;
(4) Beer distributor;
(5) Bottle club;
(6) Brewer;
(7) Brewpub;
(8) Cider;
(9) Convenience store;
(10) Distiller;
(11) Drug store;
(12) Grocery store;
(13) Hotel or motel;
(14) Licensee;
(15) Manufacturer;
(16) Mixed beverages;
(17) Original package;
(18) Person;
(19) Premises;
(20) Rectifier;
(21) Retail salesperson;
(22) Sale;
(23) Special event;
(24) Spirits;
(25) Wholesaler;
(26) Wine; and
(27) Winemaker.
