This subchapter applies to all employees as well as all applicants for employment once they have received a conditional offer of employment. EMPLOYEE is defined as any person who supplies labor for remuneration to his or her employer in this state and shall not include an independent contractor, subcontractor or employees of an independent contractor; provided, however, an independent contractor, subcontractor or employees of an independent contractor, unless otherwise provided for by contract. This policy will comply with the Oklahoma Standards for Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Act, being 40 O.S. §§ 551 et seq., as amended.
