(A) The various officers of the city, as listed below, are required to enter into a good and sufficient bond to the city, to be approved by the Mayor and City Council, conditioned for the faithful performance of their duties and the accounting and paying to the city all monies and property coming into their hands and possession by virtue of their offices, as the Mayor and Council shall from time to time determine by resolution.
(B) Bonds to the city shall be in the amounts approved by the Mayor and Council:
(1) All employees, either by individual or blanket bond;
(2) Police officers; and
(3) City Clerk.
