6-8-2: OFFENSES:
   A.   Offense Of Possession Of Cannabis: A person commits the offense of possession of cannabis by knowingly possessing ten grams (10.0 g) or less of any substance containing cannabis unless permitted or authorized to do so pursuant to the Cannabis Control Act 1 .
   B.   Offense Of Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia: A person commits the offense of possession of drug paraphernalia by knowingly possessing an item of drug paraphernalia, as defined by 720 Illinois Compiled Statutes 600/2, with the intent to use it ingesting, inhaling, or otherwise introducing cannabis into the human body, or in preparing cannabis for that use. This does not apply to a person legally authorized to possess cannabis under law. (Ord. 16-13, 9-12-2016)
