§ 110.14 EXCEPTIONS.
   This subchapter does not apply to the following:
   (A)   Persons who work for a salary for a business and derive no other income from commission or practice outside that business and within the city are exempt from the business license fee imposed in this subchapter;
   (B)   Full-time elementary or secondary students are exempt from the business license fee imposed in this subchapter. The student shall furnish to the City Clerk a certified statement by the student's principal or designee that the student is enrolled in full-time study;
   (C)   Yard sales, garage sales, street sales, and all other similar type sales shall not be required to purchase a license as required herein unless such sales are held by the same person or family or on the same premises more than twice during the period January 1 through December 31 or if the sale exceeds three consecutive days. In the event the sales exceeds three consecutive days or takes place on more than two occasions during the licensure period, then a license will be required in the amount of $25 per day.
