§ 51.38 CONNECTIONS.
   (A)   A fee of $1,200 shall be assessed for all new 5/8" x 3/4" basic water service connections inside city limits provided a water main is accessible from the customer’s property. Service will be provided to the customer’s property line. Water service lines larger than 3/4" shall be charged for the actual cost difference above the basic service connection.
   (B)   A fee of $1,000 shall be assessed for all new 4" waste water connections inside city limits provided a waste water main is accessible from the customer’s property line. Waste water service lines larger than 4" shall be charged for the actual difference above a basic service connection.
   (C)   A fee of $1,500 shall be assessed for all new 5/8" x 3/4" basic water service connections outside city limits provided a water main is accessible from the customer’s property. Service will be provided to the customer’s property line. Water service lines larger than 3/4" shall be charged for the actual cost difference above the basic service connections.
   (D)   A fee of $1,300 shall be assessed for all new 4" waste water connections outside city limits provided a waste water main is accessible from the customer’s property line. Waste water service lines larger than 4" shall be charged for the actual difference above a basic service connection.
   (E)   Any previously served property that has been vacant or has had water and/or waste water service disconnected for one year or more but desires reconnection must first be evaluated by the water and/or waste water manager to determine suitability for renewed service. If the water and/or waste water manager, in his or her sole discretion, determines that any connection or service line is unfit for renewed service, the customer shall be required to replace the connection or service line with a new connection or line at the customer’s expense. The fees for new 5/8" x 3/4" basic water service connections and new 4" waste water connections shall apply.
